in 1997, The INN at Port Gardner was designed to reflect the historic
waterfront of Everett. It is set against
the backdrop of a glistening Port Susan with emerald green views of Whidbey,
Camano, and Hat Islands.
by the well-known local Bumgardner Architecture firm, the building is a mixture
of steel, glass, concrete, and wood with northwest views of the marina .
grand floor to ceiling fireplace welcomes the traveler in the entry lobby which
is flooded by natural light. There are 33
rooms and two conference rooms along with a small café which is also part of
the building. The design received an AIA
Seattle 1998 Honor Award recipient and a Commendation Award for Washington
