Inn at Port Gardner in Everett
In the late 1800’s, Everett began to develop from the homesteaders who sought wealth from timber and ore. Because of its location to Port Gardner Bay, the area was an ideal passageway for timber and most of its waterfront was dedicated to that industry.
Everett’s proximity to the ever changing and advancing technology and manufacturing industries, from Weyerhaeuser and Fluke, to Boeing and Kimberly Clark paper mill, has shaped the city into what it is today. Located in the heart of Snohomish County it is the county seat and home to the most advanced hospitals, schools and businesses. Everett remains rich in architectural historyand has some of the most beautiful neighborhoods, (especially around Grand Avenue) lively parks, and incredible views of Port Gardner Bay.

The waterfront is alive with activity, festivals, music and restaurants and is one of the most desirable spots for kitebaording, due to the breakwater known as Jetty Island that sits to the west of the marina. From the marina you can take in views of Whidbey Island, Camano Island, Hat Island and the Olympic Mountains.
